I decided to pursue the SDS™ certification because the world has been progressing rapidly, especially in big data, computer vision, and large language models. After spending time focused on big data projects in the fintech industry, I recognized the need to update my knowledge of the latest technological advancements and the skills required of a data scientist globally.
I am impressed by the comprehensive curriculum DASCA has outlined for data scientists. It goes beyond the typical focus on mathematics and machine learning, encompassing essential skills like data visualization, developing data strategies for companies, and even data engineering techniques.
